Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Big Sky Mobile Mechanic based on my experience. I paid $444.92 in April 2026 for vehicle repairs. After months of delays, rescheduling, excuses, and periods of unanswered messages, the work was ultimately never completed. I was then told I would receive a refund. I was specifically told my refund would be provided on September 5. That date passed without my money being returned. As of September 8, the business had not returned my $444.92. I subsequently disputed the transaction with my bank, which has provisionally credited my account while it investigates. Today’s communication also became extremely concerning and unprofessional. After I explicitly told the owner not to call or text me again, he continued contacting me. In his messages, he referenced family members with law-enforcement backgrounds, told me he knows state laws “very well,” and told me, “these are battles that you’re not gonna win with me.” He also told me that unless I provide my personal banking information for an ACH transfer, I will not receive a refund. I have retained the original paid invoice, our written communications, refund promises, screenshots, and call records documenting my experience. I genuinely hoped this could be resolved privately. I trusted this business because it came recommended through someone I trust very much, which makes the experience even more disappointing.
