Before you buy

Is this the same as ASE?

No. Mechanic Rank Certification is an independent credential from Mechanicrank. It does not replace ASE, a state license, or EPA 609.

What if I fail?

Below 75% is a fail. Wait 72 hours and retake the exam at no extra charge.

How long is a credential good for?

Five years. Recertify for $19.99 when it runs out.

Where does the badge show?

On your claimed Mechanicrank listing, on your public profile, and on a verify page tied to your cert ID. You can also put the badge on your own website.
