1. About Mechanicrank

Mechanicrank.com ("Mechanicrank", "we", "us", "our") is a service operated by Supercanic LLC, a California limited liability company. Supercanic LLC also operates Supercanic.com and PrePurchaseAuto.com. References to "Mechanicrank," "Supercanic," or "PrePurchaseAuto" in these Terms refer to Supercanic LLC and its operations under those brands.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mechanicrank.com (the "Site") or any service provided through it, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

3. Nature of the Directory

Mechanicrank is an online directory of automotive service providers, including mobile mechanics, repair shops, and specialty service businesses. Listings are compiled from publicly available business information and from claims submitted by business owners. Mechanicrank does not employ the businesses listed, does not guarantee their work, and does not act as their agent except where expressly stated (e.g., for Supercanic Official locations or, in the future, for businesses participating in the Mechanicrank dispatch network).

4. Listing Information & Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to keep listing information accurate but do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or current availability of any business listed. Customers should independently verify a business's licensing, insurance, hours, and service offerings before transacting. If you are a business owner and find inaccurate information about your business, please claim your listing or contact us.

5. Claiming a Listing

Business owners may claim their listing free of charge to add custom descriptions, logos, services, hours, and contact preferences. By submitting a claim, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to act on behalf of the business and that all information you provide is truthful and accurate. Claims are subject to automated and manual review. We reserve the right to reject, modify, or revoke any claim at any time.

6. Customer Inquiries & Bookings

When customers contact a listed business through Mechanicrank, the resulting transaction is between the customer and that business. Mechanicrank is not a party to the transaction unless explicitly identified as such (for example, in dispatch network jobs where Supercanic LLC acts as the booking party).

7. User Content

You grant Mechanicrank a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute any content you submit (including business descriptions, logos, photos, reviews, and testimonials) in connection with operating and promoting the Site. You represent that you have the rights to grant this license.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Site to: submit false or misleading information; impersonate another business or person; scrape or systematically harvest data; submit spam, malware, or harassing content; attempt to disrupt or compromise Site security; violate any applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

The Mechanicrank name, logo, and Site design are property of Supercanic LLC. The Supercanic name and logo are also property of Supercanic LLC. Business names, logos, and content submitted by claim remain the property of their respective owners.

10. Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR LEGALITY OF ANY BUSINESS LISTED. CUSTOMERS USE LISTED BUSINESSES AT THEIR OWN RISK.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUPERCANIC LLC, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY TRANSACTION WITH A LISTED BUSINESS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Supercanic LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your interaction with any business listed on the Site.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California.
