How a business gets on here

We build listings from public business data, the same records you would find on a map search. Nobody pays to appear and nobody pays to rank higher. There is no sponsored placement anywhere on this site.

An owner can claim their listing for free, which lets them correct the details, add hours and services, and put their logo on it. 103 owners have done that so far. If a business is missing you can add it free.

How the ratings work

Star ratings and review counts come from public sources and are shown as they are. We do not write reviews, we do not buy them, and we do not remove a bad one because a shop asked. Where we have collected reviews from more than one place, the page says which is which.

A listing marked Claimed means the owner verified they run it. A Verified badge means they also passed our qualification questions. Neither one is something you can buy, and neither changes where a shop ranks.

Who runs it

Mechanicrank is operated by Supercanic LLC, which also runs its own mobile mechanic shops. Those locations are marked Supercanic Official wherever they appear, so you always know when you are looking at one of ours. They are held to the same listing rules as everyone else.

We also run free study guides and a paid certification program for mechanics, a jobs board, and repair cost guides so drivers can see what a job should cost before they call anyone.
