How He Got Into the Trade
Joshua Carter learned the trade from his dad and a friend, Dave Ricker. That's where it started for him.
His focus, in his words, has always been serving his community. Through 315 Mobile Mechanics he wants to offer affordable, reliable service and get people back on the road safely. He says he doesn't discriminate and isn't there to judge or patronize anyone. He lets his work speak for itself.
What He Gets Called For Most
Brake jobs are the call he gets most often. Beyond that, he says he does just about everything on a vehicle.
He describes his rates as wicked fair.

What Customers Get Wrong
Joshua says a lot of things get misunderstood, but the big one is price. People often want rates even lower than what he already charges, and he points out his prices are already cheaper than any shop around.
Work He's Proud Of
Ask him about a repair he's proud of and he'll tell you there have been too many to count. If he had to pick a pattern, he says he's worked on more Chevys than anything else.
His favorite car he's ever worked on is a 1967 Camaro.

Area Covered and What the First Call Looks Like
Joshua tries to cover the entire 315 area code. Every first call includes a service call, and that service call includes a diagnostic.
Maintenance People Skip
The thing he sees skipped most is normal annual service. Nothing fancy, just the regular upkeep people put off.
