The Mechanicrank network is building its apprentice bench in Glen Burnie. No experience and no tools required to start — we match entry-level candidates with hiring shops and mobile mechanics in our network. Pay starts at $15.00/hr, the state minimum wage, and climbs as you learn and certify: the free study guides on this site and the MRC certification track are the ladder. One application covers every participating shop in your area.
What you will be doing
- Assist on brake, suspension, and maintenance jobs under a working mechanic
- Learn diagnostics hands-on, on real customer vehicles
- Keep the work area, tools, and photo documentation squared away
What you need
- No experience required — show up, be teachable, be on time
- Valid driver license preferred
